With the Scottish lower divisions regular seasons coming to an end this week, tonight is a big night for one Celtic loanee in the battle against relegation.

This evening Clyde take on East Fife in what could be their last game of the season and Celtic youngster Ewan Otoo is in from the start.

A win tonight for the Bully Wee means they automatically survive in League One, leapfrogging Dumbarton in 8th place. However, any other result means Clyde and Otoo face the relegation play-offs.

This has been a good spell out on loan for the 18-year old youngster, who will have played 13 times for Danny Lennon’s side after this evening’s game, since joining in March.

Otoo has shown his versatility, playing most of his football at left-back for Clyde in the last few months but is also capable of playing in both central defence and midfield.

It is clear to see he has a bright future in the game. He will be hoping he can end his loan spell tonight with a win over East Fife. If not, it will be another few games ahead against League 2 opposition to fight for survival.
