KEITH DOWNIE couldn’t hide his dismay and dislike of Celtic captain Scott Brown at the final whistle on Saturday as the bhoys picked up a treble treble.

Celtic made history and had to come from a goal behind to win the Scottish Cup on a day when everyone was waiting to see them fail.

Scott Brown had a pretty quiet game but in the final ten minutes the midfielder was dragged about the park, manhandled and generally targeted by a bullish Hearts team.

Just before the final whistle, Scott Brown was part of a sequence of play where he was kicked but still managed to slide in and put the ball out to safety and his reaction was priceless – the Celtic captain giving out a roar to the Celtic support.

When the full time whistle came Scott Brown did not miss the mark with the players who targeted him during the game. He gave it back to the players who gave it out to him but Sky Sports Kieth Downie wasn’t happy with this at all.

Scott Brown celebrated a treble treble by celebrating with the fans and his teammates. The verbal at the end is what happens when someone is targeted throughout a game. Keith felt so strongly about it he had to tweet the message.

Cheer up Keith.
