We feel like it’s April Fools day!

In the past 24 hours Celtic have been linked with a move for Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie and now another ‘source’ is reporting Celtic are looking at a new name for the Celtic managerial position in the form of Swansea Boss Graham Potter.

Yes, you read that correctly! Apparently, Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawwell are casting their net wide in the search for the next Celtic manager (that is a good thing) but their net may have a novice manager who is currently struggling in the Championship with Swansea.

Potter, who only got the Swansea job back in 2018 is fighting mid-table mediocrity after making the move from Ostersunds where he managed a win over Arsenal in the Europa League – the managers only real claim to fame.

The SunSport report claims Potter’s representatives are ‘close’ to influential figures at Parkhead. We hope that means they have a season ticket in the family stand.

Great reputation. Has a great rapore with fans. He’s not working,so wouldn’t cost us anything. Wonder what others think?
