Celtic and St. Johnstone were playing out a carbon copy of their game at Celtic Park Wednesday night, the only problem today was Celtic couldn’t find the net.

It looked like one of those days when an inform Zander Clark looked unbeatable. The introduction of Edouard lasted only minutes as he was stretchered off after losing a 50/50 in the goal mouth. That opened the door for new Bhoy Timo Weah to turn the game on its head. His pace and running behind the defenders look exactly like what Celtic have been missing this season. (continues below…)

One of his runs led to the first goal as he teed up James Forrest to score his first goal in ten games. Once Saints were forced to come out of their defensive wall, the Celtic were not long hitting them on the break again. This time a spearhead of McGregor, Sinclair, and Weah left the Saints defenders for dead. McGregor found Weah who tapped home and immediately jumped into his ever grown admirers as he put the Celts up by two.

Celtic are six clear again in the league and will face St Johnstone again in a few days in the Scottish Cup. Next up for Celtic will be Hibs at Paradise on Wednesday evening.
