SHANE DUFFY has scored in his debut game for the club putting Celtic 3-0 up on the day against Ross County.

The Irishman was already living out a boyhood dream by pulling on that jersey but to score on his debut will have been sweet.

It was a fantastic headed goal and shows first hand what he can offer this season going forward.

Celtic had been lacking physical presence in the box until Jullien came in last season and now we also have Duffy who can get on the end of good aerial balls.

It wasn’t a stroll in the park for Celtic to get to 3-0, they really had to work for the result and Ross County did their best to make a game of it, bringing out some good saves in our new goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas.

The bhoys will now go to Paisley on Wednesday hoping to close the gap at the top of the table.
