STV have reported this evening that Dedryk Boyata did NOT make the flight out with Celtic to Lithuania after previously training with the team at Celtic Park.

The bhoys looked in good spirits this morning as they done a light training session ahead of their flight with Boyata being in amongst the action.

It was thought the Belgian would be included in the travelling squad after his weekend absence where he was made to train with the developmental squad. However, it looks like Dedryk will play no part in Celtic’s first leg against Suduva on Thursday.

Is this foreshadowing a transfer deal is in the offing or has Rodgers left him behind because he’s not satisfied with the player’s commitment? Early reports by Radio Clyde have suggested the player has again downed tools.

It’s also noteworthy STV also reported Jack Hendry was missing from the travelling squad – the player may have picked up an injury.

We should learn more when Brendan Rodgers takes part in his pre-match press conference.

  1. If br is not satisfied with his commitment, then get rid, how can he be played in league matches, this is now becoming tedious, surely a decision has to be made, and now, some others are not in the loop, time for a clear out ,stop paying wages just to train, enough,!
