We asked our huge social media following if they will wish Dedryck Boyata the best when he leaves Celtic Park in the summer. Over 80% of the fans who commented said they felt the player had turned things around after he laid down his tools last summer and would leave with their best wishes.
Celtic fans were furious at the time and when a banner was unfurled at Celtic Park stating that Boyata was not “Fit To Wear The Jersey”, it looked like the end for the defender. The Belgian international put his head down and got stuck into the season and neither party has looked back. Anyone looking forward though knew the player was leaving Celtic on a free after the club knocked back reported offers in excess of 7 million pounds.
You’d imagine Dedryck will have a list of clubs for his signature and it looks like German side Hertha have added their name to the list and look close to an agreement.
