One of our bloggers wrote an opinion piece earlier today about the possibility of Marvin Compper being given a second chance at Celtic with Neil Lennon in attendance at the latest developmental game against Dundee.

Compper, Allan and Bayo were three of the senior players involved in the game on Tuesday eight the bhoys winning a thumping 6-0 on the day.

This time two weeks ago it would have been unthinkable for Marvin Compper to get anywhere near the first team with Brendan Rodgers in charge; Fast forward to now and interim Celtic boss Neil Lennon doesn’t rule out Marvin coming into the squad.

Asked at today’s press conference if there was a possibility of Marvin could feature under the new regime Lennon told Celtic TV there was!

“He could, yeah. He played a development game on Tuesday and I went to see it.

“His attitude was excellent. Scott Allan played as well, and Bayo. I was really pleased with what I saw from the senior boys as well as the younger players.”

Marvin has become a joke figure in many ways for the Celtic support due to his extreme lack of game time but the truth is nobody knows if this guy can play or not with Rodgers not even deeming the German worthy of a chance.

His inclusion would be interesting.
