Sky Sports have just confirmed that Brendan Rodgers has verbally agreed to move back to England. No contract has been signed but that is just someone hitting file and print at this stage.
If any Celtic fans were hoping that Rodgers would get down to England and say “Nah, your alright mate” your last bit of hope should be gone with this news.

Celtic fans are best off strapping themselves in now for the imminent arrival of one Neil Lennon. We reported earlier that Lennon is currently locked in talks to take charge of Celtic at Tynecastle tomorrow evening. What a morning of drama and it is only getting started.
If Neil Lennon takes charge he will plunge right into the deep end at Tynecastle. A ground that has horrible memories for Lennon. Not because he has lost games there, because he has been assaulted by fans at the ground twice.
If a trip to Hearts wasn’t enough, Lennon’s next game would be at Easter Road. The Lurgan man just left Edinburgh a few weeks ago after he fell out with the Hibs board and possibly some players. What a soap opera.
