Celtic have today announced the signing of Luca Connell from Bolton on a four-year deal!
The player had been in talks with the club this week and was even seen trackside at Celtic Park with Peter Lawwell. The deal must have been concluded at this point with the medical happening before it was announced.
Luca follows Christopher Jullien’s lead and becomes Celtic’s second signing of the window.
The Liverpool born player who is currently in the Irish youth set up and had recently been called up to the full Irish squad to train with the players because they believe Luca is going to be a star.
The defensive midfielder played for Bolton last season but was still only on a youth contract. As the player wasn’t tied down by Bolton he exercised his right to move on from the troubled club who are currently in administration.
Luca may join up with his new Celtic teammates in the coming days on their tour.
