REPORTS in Denmark have tonight have suggested Erik Sviatchenko is on the brink of a return to his homeland with FC Midtjylland on-loan.
Eksta Bladet reports that the player will be unveiled on Tuesday by the club which will end his two-year association with Celtic for now.
Erik was once tipped to be a future captain at Celtic such was his first impact and his charitable roots off the pitch.

In recent months the player has found himself injured and out of the side. Once he was back to full fitness he still didn’t see any game time at which point the player was told he could look for a move away.
If this Danish publication is correct then it looks like that move away is imminent. The club themselves have added to the speculation by saying they will unveil a new player tomorrow morning.
FC Midtjylland are believed to have an option to buy in the summer.
