CELTIC Striker Moussa Dembele has been told he’s in the provisional squad for France’s senior team.

The Frenchman has been playing for the Under 21s but his performances for club and country have impressed Didier Deschamps who sees a big future for Moussa.

The provisional squad is a pool of 30 that will have to be whittled down to 24 before the end of the week so it’s not yet guaranteed that the striker will definitely be part of the France team to play Germany.

The fact that he’s now in contention shows the progress he’s making at Celtic and how playing in Scottish football isn’t a barrier for the fan-favourite.
