Celtic were very tough to watch last night in Lithuania.

If you stopped watching after ten minutes you would have been very satisfied with the performance.

However, if you stuck around until full time then you will know the bhoys struggled big time to break down a very poor Suduva side.

Celtic dominated possession but in the a second half it was Suduva who had the best chances on the break.

Brendan Rodgers spoke after the game about the defence being too soft and the need to up our intensity in Europe.

This will not be of any comfort to Celtic fans who made the journey out to Lithuania in the hope of seeing an exhilarating Celtic away performance.

It was laboured, it was boring and it was predictable.

The one bright spark on Thursday night had to be the inclusion of Mikey Johnston and the player’s early assist.

Most Celtic fans seem to agree on that.

  1. Celtic will dump them out next game but that is not the point we see a Celtic team needing some new faces two or three players that will turn the rest of the team on,but they must be seasoned pros who know there way around the pitch and know where to be when defending we got a huge hole in the defence and one in midfield we need both closed down now

  2. A central defender that could improve the defence in the short term is James Collins ex West Ham who is available at the moment.
