BRENDAN RODGERS has admitted he has no idea what Dedryck Boyata’s Instagram post was about and the manager hasn’t even seen it.
We reported yesterday the Celtic defender posted a video panning across a table with paperwork sitting alongside a pen before quickly panning to the TV.
This left many speculating the World Cup star was in the process of finalising a Celtic deal but if he was then Rodgers is none the wiser.
“I have to say, I’m not a social media man.” Rodgers admitted to BT Sports.
“I’m probably anti-social media, so I haven’t a clue what goes on there.
“If he signed a contract for Celtic that’d be great because he’s a great player.
“I’ll speak to him tomorrow and hopefully he will enlighten me.”
Rodgers was speaking before watching his side concede a very late goal to drop two points at Fir Park.
The bhoys are now second in the table behind Kilmarnock who have played two more games than the champions.
If Celtic were to win all their games in hand they would be three points clear at the top.
Rodgers bemoaned the slack and unimpressive football on show from his team on Wednesday night and knows they’ll need to improve with Kilmarnock heading to Glasgow on Saturday.
