BRENDAN RODGERS has given Celtic fans an update on transfers as well as when he expects Kieran Tierney to be back ‘on the pitch’ in the coming weeks.
The Celtic manager told the media he expects Marian Shved to become a Celtic Player early next week but would not go any further talking about possible targets elsewhere.
Celtic fans have been hoping for a right back coming in since the beginning of the window but that goal has proved elusive to this point.
With less than a week of the transfer window to go, Celtic seem like they’re no closer to a solution. Brendan spoke very much as he did in the summer window when he said if there are no further additions he’s happy with his squad.
Also, the manager seemed a little bit clearer on Kieran Tierney, suggesting the player could be back playing and not just training by the beginning of next month. Now that would be a major boost.
? Brendan Rodgers says if they don’t manage to make more January signings he still has a ‘fantastic squad’ at his disposal.
The Celtic boss hopes deal for the Marian Shved will be completed early next week.
Hopes Kieran Tierney will be back on the pitch by early February.
