CELTIC will have all three big game players back for Pittodrie and Ibrox after Brendan Rodgers confirmed.
Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Kieran Tierney will make the trip up north before taking their place in the team.
That means 3/4 of the defence which played against Dundee at Celtic Park on Saturday will drop out; Izaguirre, Ralston and Simunovic.
After the win against Dundee, there had been an argument for keeping some of the defence unchanged but Brendan has made it clear he needs his big game players for the next two games.
“You can’t doubt them (Boyata, Lustig and Tierney) in terms of what they have done for me over the last two and a half years. They have been getting better and you can’t doubt their mentality.” Rodgers told The Herald.
As for Odsonne Edouard, the Irishman wouldn’t definitively say the player would start in Aberdeen. The Celtic boss thinks the Frenchman will make it.
“We just shut him down for a few days, and we’ll assess him over the next few days,” he said. “He should be okay.”
