Brendan Rodgers has called this season’s title win the most satisfying of his career. Celtic cruised to their 55th league title with a dominant campaign, finishing 17 points clear at the top of the Premiership. After returning to the Hoops last season and winning the league in his first year back, Rodgers said this second title felt different and more rewarding.

This season, however, he has taken things to another level. From the first game, they looked sharper, stronger, and more focused than anyone else in the league.
He said: (RecordSport), “This is certainly the most satisfying.
“When I came in here in the first season, obviously I’m getting to know everyone in the club and the feeling.
“But now, especially coming back the second time, I can really embrace it more and enjoy it and just see it obviously as well how the team have been performing.”

Celtic didn’t just win games, they controlled them. They played with speed and confidence, but also showed they could manage games when needed. That mix of attacking threat and control made them hard to beat. It wasn’t just about scoring goals, but stopping the opposition from getting the ball.
Rodgers now has five league titles as Celtic manager. But he made it clear this one meant more. The connection with the club, the control over the team, and the style of football all added to the feeling of satisfaction. He returned to win and build something lasting. This season proved that both are well on track.
Now, attention will turn to the Scottish Cup final, next season, and Europe. But for now, Rodgers and his players can enjoy a title won in style — with a massive points gap and football that exceeded the standards expected at Celtic Park — with the Irishman even opening the door to a contract extension beyond next season.
