BRENDAN RODGERS is tired and bored at Celtic, it’s there for all to see. Tired and bored of having to repeat himself when it comes to addressing his own future.

Since the start of this season, we have seen a number of EPL fanboys telling us Rodgers will scarper back to the English Premier League the first chance he gets. Never mind that he was sounded out about the West Ham job and the London got a swift ‘thanks, but no thanks’.

We had Michael Owen this week saying Rodgers will head back at the end of this season because he’ll get bored of winning. Let that sink in – bored of winning!

Brendan Rodgers continues to hammer home Celtic Park is the place he wants to be and the way in which he speaks about the club is not dissimilar to the excitement you see from a child on Christmas eve.

The Celtic manager knows the money is plentiful down south but the grass is not greener.

“I could leave Celtic, and maybe double or triple my wages and go elsewhere – but it wouldn’t guarantee me happiness.” Rodgers explained.

Rodgers is on a big contract at Celtic and rightfully so, having steered the club twice now to the Champions League Group Stage – he has earned his crust.

He has had plenty of time in English football and there may be a time when the manager revisits it, but right now, and for the foreseeable future he is Celtic.

  2. You’ll still get some stupid English muppet looking for a headline coming out with the crap again. They can’t see celtic getting beat so this is the only way to try and unsettle your manager, management and playing staff. Scumbags the lot of them. 10 in a row Hail Hail

  3. Brendan knows that most managers are treated like Shit by.power hungry and Egotistical Chairman in the EPL…He now works for people he likes and the real people adore him which is us the Supporters. He of course is one of us and doesn’t it show. This is why the people who really wish they were a part of us are talking nonsense.Michael Owens Grandparents are from Budding Street across the Street from the front door of Celtic Park. They are 100.per cent DNA.Celts .What’s it all About Michael. ?..

  4. Couldn’t agree more with the comments above,Brendan is one of our own and is living the dream, only pulling on the hoops and actually playing on the pitch at Paradise, could eclipse what he’s currently employed to do.This is what the E.P.L be all and end all, pushers can’t comprehend.
The only thing that worries me is that the Celtic board don’t continue to see or share Brendan’s view/vision for the team and back him financially in his pursuit of European improvement.
I think mousse will be sold,if not in the January transfer window, then most probably the summer one.If this is the case, then the board must give the manager a fair chunk of the anticipated record transfer fee for a Scottish club, which Celtic would receive, then Brendan may become frustrated and disallusioned and regrettably leave the club.
