BRENDAN RODGERS has confirmed that Charly Musonda has gone back to Chelsea, four months after the midfielder joined the club on an 18-month deal.
The Irishman was very positive to young Charly but let it be known that he wouldn’t guarantee the attacker game time which made up the player’s mind about a Stamford Bridge return.
The manager has also confirmed that Charly Musonda has returned permanently to parent club @ChelseaFC: "He was a joy to work with, a really good boy, wanted to learn and he's now at an age where he needs to play week in, week out, and, unfortunately, I couldn't promise him that." pic.twitter.com/iUnWUsM7go

No doubt if the lad had stuck around he would have seen game time next season, but such was his impatience he has opted to fight for his place at Chelsea.
Brendan Rodgers was correct not to bow to pressure and feel obligated to play Charly under any circumstances.
i think that brendaon correct in letting him return to chelsey , he obviously has the lads interest at heart, still young and is work in progress , so fair do to brendan not to be pressured into holding him good luck young man x
