BRENDAN RODGERS has choices up front for the first time in months and could call upon either Timothy Weah or Issouf Bayo for Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie on Saturday.

Edouard has been training back at Lennoxtown this week, but after missing a large part of the Dubai training sessions, the Irishman may leave Edouard on the bench.

This would leave either Bayo or Weah to make their debut. If we’re going by who has spent more time with the player’s over the past two weeks, then Weah would likely start the match.

However, Bayo has been playing football this season and will be up to scratch if Rodgers wants to throw him straight into the mix. This is less likely with Bayo not having a full week of training with the bhoys under his belt yet.

It’s a big decision for Rodgers, whoever he starts with could set the tone and have the first crack at trying to make a name for themselves.

Oli Burke is another man who could start on Saturday as Celtic start their defence of the Scottish Cup.
