BRENDAN RODGERS has given one of the biggest compliments he can give to his defender Kristoffer Ajer by declaring the Norwegian is going to make it to the very highest level of the game.
Speaking at Celtic’s pre-match press conference before the Rosenborg game on Wednesday, the Irishman singled out Ajer for special praise while in his homeland.
?️ BR on Kristoffer Ajer: "I think he’ll go to the very highest level of the game. He’s a real leader for a young guy and he’s only going to get better and better. Joy to work with. Good guy, clever boy and his life’s devoted to football." #RBKCEL #UCL

Ajer was sent out on-loan to Kilmarnock when’s Rosgers first cake in and had to wait a very long time for his chance.
The player was signed on a pre-contract by Ronny Deila and many thought the fact he wasn’t a Rodgers signing worked against him.
His natural ability, talent and flair has surfaced at Celtic Park in a big way and he’s probably considered Celtic’s first choice centre back.
