BRENDAN RODGERS has called up young Max Potter to train with the first team, a month after his developmental debut.

Max, who was signed by Celtic as a 14-year-old lad has had some high praise from people within the club.

As a youngster, he was even invited to train at the prestigious Benfica academy before signing for Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers is a great believer in allowing the younger players to learn of the first team in training sessions, having called up young Mikey Johnston and others in the past.

We’re unlikely to see Max in the first team picture this season but if the boss thinks he can add something next term we might just be seeing more of him.
