BRENDAN RODGERS has reportedly been put on a list of potential replacements for Arsene Wenger should the Frenchman step down at the end of the season.
Arsenal who have been struggling again this season capitulated in the League cup at Wembley on Sunday and the board are seriously considering replacing the legendary manager.
It is no surprise to Celtic fans Rodgers would be linked with one of the top jobs in England – his reputation continues to grow within the game regardless of what the SPFL critics like to say.
The Celtic manager joins a shortlist that also has former Ibrox midfielder Mikel Arteta, however, that would seem less likely with the lack of experience the former player has and is currently on the books at Man City as a coach.
Brendan Rodgers has recommitted himself to Celtic so many times since getting to Glasgow and signed a four-year deal with the club last year. The Irishman will still be in no rush to leave Glasgow.
