Brendan Rodgers has been named Glen’s Scottish Premiership Manager of the Season for 2024/25. The Celtic boss has led the Hoops to another league title, making it two in a row since his return in the summer of 2023. This latest success takes his total to four Premiership titles as Celtic manager across both spells.

Celtic have been strong all season. With two league games still to play, they’ve won 28 of their 36 matches, drawn four and lost four. The title was wrapped up in style with a 5-0 away win against Dundee United. Rodgers’ team have played some brilliant attacking football throughout the campaign.

The Irishman’s work hasn’t just been recognised at the end of the season. He also picked up Manager of the Month awards in September and November, when the team started to build real momentum. Early big wins like the 4-0 over Kilmarnock and the 2-0 win at Hibs set the tone for what followed at the beginning of the season.

Rodgers also led Celtic to silverware earlier in the season by winning the League Cup. A penalty shootout win at Hampden saw the Hoops edge Rangers to seal the first domestic trophy of the season.

Now, the chance of a treble is real. Celtic face Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden next Saturday. If they win, it would be another clean sweep for Rodgers and another historic season under his leadership.

His ability to manage the pressure, get the best from his players and win trophies has stood out again. Celtic fans will be celebrating another league win and this latest award, with one more massive day still to come.
