BRENDAN RODGERS is on the brink of the sack at Leicester City after a poor run of results has left the side rock bottom of the Premier League after seven games played.

The Foxes have only managed to pick up one point this season.

The side’s board have been busy searching for potential replacements if they do decide that Brendan Rodgers isn’t capable of turning Leicester’s fortune around.

It’s reported that Thomas Frank will be approached to take over from the Northern Irishman if he does receive his books. [Daily Record]

Frank has done a great job at Brentford, but would Leicester be an upgrade at this moment in time? I’m not quite sure. Brentford is currently ninth and had a decent first season in the Premier League, finishing in midtable comfortably.

The manager is very much involved in a project at the moment, and it could take some convincing for him to leave.

If the Foxes do sack Brendan Rodgers, it’s thought he’ll get a £10 million payoff; that’s more than what they paid Celtic for him in 2019! [Mirror]
