BRENDAN RODGERS says he’s ready to unleash his new bhoys in the coming weeks as Celtic’s fixture list gets busy between now and Christmas.

The bhoys will have seven games in the next four weeks and the further the club go in the League Cup means more games and more opportunities for the squad as a whole.

Asked if newest bhoys Filip Benkovic and Youssouf Mulumbu are primed and ready for action on Friday, the Celtic manager kept his cards close to his chest but admitted they will see action very soon.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference the manager said: “We’re hoping they will come into the squad for upcoming games.

“They’ll get opportunities as we have a busy schedule of games between now and Christmas.”

Benkovic is here on loan for the season but has a call back clause in his deal which could see him leave in January.

Mulumbu has a two-year deal with the club and is hoping to add experience to a young Celtic squad.
