Former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be the hot favourite to take over at Spurs this summer.

The former invincible Celtic boss has been at Leicester for just over two years. Leaving Celtic unceremoniously in February 2019.

Since then, he’s enjoyed decent success with Leicester and is chasing the Champions League spots for the second season running.

Spurs have been poor and let go of Jose Mourinho who was in the role around 17 months.

SunSport report, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy sees Rodgers as the ideal fit for the gig but Leicester might have something to say about that.

Rodgers is ridiculously ambitious and is very methodical how he approaches his career. He treated Celtic as a stepping stone back to the Premier League but his ambitions will go beyond Leicester.

However, Spurs seem like a side destined to toil. Would that be something that interests the former Celtic boss?

Back closer to home, Celtic are still to announce a new manager, two months after Neil Lennon left the building.

Even before then, Neil Lennon was a lame duck manager. How we haven’t managed to sort things out yet is very poor.

  1. “…very poor” must be the understatement of the year! It’s an absolute disgrace that this has been alloeed to come about. We would gave known this could happen and so we should’ve punted him in January. We’ll end up with nowt just like Caley. But screw them, odious hun-run shower of bassas…

  2. It’s my opinion Celtic are hoping we get a run of wins so they can justify giving it to Kennedy. This is the biggest joke ever. It’s been obvious since Farencvaros we needed a manager. Shame on Desmond, Lawwell and bankier
