BRENDAN RODGERS is ready to send the man he thinks can replace Scott Brown longterm out on-loan for the sake of his development.

Eboue Kouassi has only played nine times for Celtic since his move to the Scottish Champions and while the Irishman hold the player in high regard, he feels a loan move would benefit the club and the Kouassi.

The central midfielder has found first team football hard to come by thus far as Scott Brown is still in the form of his life under the current regime.

A six-month loan spell seems ideal for everyone.

The Celtic boss said: “We need to ensure Eboue is developing and improving. He needs to be playing.”

“Broony is one I’ve taken out the odd time, and I’ve got Eboue in.

“But there’s no doubt he hasn’t played a lot of games.

“It’s not because of him, it’s because of the form of our skipper
