Kenny Macintyre from BBC Sportsound got the Ange treatment and then some after the St Mirren game on Wednesday night.

The Celtic gaffer had just watched his side win 2-0 after a difficult first forty-five.

The Hoops regrouped and came out in the second half with more purpose and got two goals to secure the win in a game they looked comfortable.

The BBC man asked the manager a leading question when he went in front of the rights holder’s and Ange refused to be led. Instead, the Australian manager made it clear he eas happy with his team breaking down a team hell bent on sitting in – offering nothing upfront.

It was around 10pm post-match on Tuesday live on BBC Radio Macintyre put his foot in it with this question.: “That was a hard watch at times, is that fair?”

Ange responded: “It depends what you’re looking for. Maybe you’re disappointed with the way it went, mate.”

This was absolute gold from the bhoys gaffer and so many fans will 100% be behind that comment.

Ange is taking offence to his team getting told they’re being dull or flat when he’s watching his team get to create with opposition sides in no way trying to play a football match.

CeltsAreHere attended the post-match press conference on Sunday at Easter Road. The manager was in a snappy mood when mainstream media journalists trying to creat a narrative he wasn’t happy with.

As always, Ange deals with the media expertly.

  1. It WAS a hard watch.
Attackwise, St Mirren possibly worst side I’ve seen at CP all sesson but we struggled to create anything ourselves-again.
Yes, the 3 points are the main thing but Ange is fooling no one if he continues to claim we’re playing well.
Big improvement required if we are to end the Livvy jinx on Sunday
