Kristoffer Ajer is fast becoming one of the most popular Celtic players in the squad with his rise to prominence in the last six months. The defender’s talent, passion and determination are all traits which have made him a hit with the Celtic support.

Ajer will celebrate a slide tackle like a goal under certain circumstances and always gives his all during a game.

What we’ve noticed in the last few games though is how protective the defender is over his teammates with the Norweigan ready to rumble at the first sign of trouble. During the Hibernian match, Ajer was solid once again and did his job well but the best clip of him from the day has to be the one below!

Scott Brown was getting some grief from the Hibernian players and Kamberi even pushed the Celtic captain in the back. Ajer quickly ran over and made a point of having words with the Hibs frontman.

Everyone needs a mate like Ajer.
