Graffiti has appeared overnight at Hampden at The Rangers end with the tagline ‘Hope you brought your tri-colour as the two sides get set to meet in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The Green Brigade have asked Celtic fans to bring their Irish tri-colours to the ground for the match after the group were banned from setting up a banner display in the Celtic end.
The GB will also hand out 10k tri-colours to fans heading into the stadium to make sure the Celtic end is as colourful as possible pre-match.
Celtic are hoping to make it three in a row against the Ibrox club after winning both him and away in this fixture in 2022. It’s going to be a tough afternoon but a challenge the bhoys will relish.
The Hoops have already got the league cup in the bag and to get to a another final would be the icing on the cake.
Hopefully it’s a good day for the green half of Glasgow. The anticipation before these games is always electric.
Looking forward to singing songs of Irish rebellion and waving the flag of the motherland at Hampden today. As the sons of Ireland go to war.
