Not many Celtic fans have a bad word to say about Joe Hart. The Englishman has come into the club and not looked for one last pay day but instead the opportunity to win titles and be competitive – it’s exactly what he’s done.
Joe has been a breath of fresh air – he could have easily sat on a bench down south and collected a more favourable wage. Instead, he came up to Scotland and has helped Celtic secure their SPFL title back at the first time of asking.
Celtic have had a good few goalkeepers over the years but one constant in that department has been our goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods. The coach has worked wonders with so many of the lads who have came in, the only one he’s not managed to improve in some way is Vasilis Barkas.
Any of the goalkeepers who have worked with Stevie have nothing but good things to say about him and the fact he’s still at Celtic after all these years says something.

The bhoys had just effectively secured the title and the pair shared a moment on the pitch.
Joe has really bought into Celtic and has been a great leader on and off the pitch with the younger lads. For £1m, he’s been an absolutely sensational signing.
