JOE HART has been linked with a move to Celtic but Chris Sutton is not convinced the Englishman is what Celtic needs.

The former Celtic striker believes Hart has not had much game time and has been poor for a while now.

Then Chris made a massive assertion that Celtic should go back in and get Craig Gordon.

After letting the goalkeeper go last season and signing Barkas, Celtic’s goalkeeping fortunes have gone downhill.

Craig and the club couldn’t come to an agreement and at the time he was number two to Fraser Forster who the club thought they had for another season before he pulled himself out of a deal to stay with Southampton.

Speaking on Wednesday evening, Sutton had this to say on the goalkeeping situation.

“I’d go get Craig Gordon back from Hearts” Chris Sutton told PREMIER SPORTS Live (18:24ko)

“This is an issue that’s needing resolving, it’s ridiculous they’re in this position.

“He’s choosing between two keepers who are not up to it

“Celtic need to bring a keeper in.”

If Joe hart does come in, he will likely be on a bigger wage than Craig Gordon would have cost Celtic a year ago.

However, going back for Craig wouldn’t seem plausible. He’s been made Hearts captain and is under contract with the Tynecastle side.
