Celtic could confirm Scott Brown’s end of season departure today if Aberdeen confirm their new management set up.

Sky Sports believes Dons chairman David Cormack is set to announce their nee manager Stephen Glass who has convinced Broony to come on board as his assistant.

The legendary Celtic captain’s influence on the field is not what it used to be but I think so many Celtic supporters wanted to see the midfielder stick around and help facilitate the rebuild.

Given the extent of the player exodus this summer, Brown could have been their to help the new and old guard settle down together.

However, Scott looks like he wants to get straight into coaching which means a step back from Celtic.

It’s unclear at this point if Brown would play any kind of playing staff role at Pittodrie.

Hoops Supporters would find it strange to see Scott wearing anything but a Celtic badge on the field.
