Some Celtic fans have been begging for today’s main team news talking point. Scott Brown is on the bench and David Turnbull comes in for his first start for the Hoops.

Squad rotation is going to become important for Neil Lennon over the next few months as three games a week beckons. This is something the Celtic squad are used to the last few seasons but just how much tinkering Lennon can do and still keep consistency flowing remains to be seen.

As you can see today’s starting team is hardly a weakened one with an international break up next the Celtic manager will want to be heading into that break with three points in the bag today against Saints.

It has been a  tough introduction to management for Calum Davidson as his side struggle to hit the net and they are at the bottom of the table with St Mirren.
