It was a good spirited night for Celtic’s Player of the year awards which saw Callum McGregor win two personal gongs on the night.

The midfielder walked out with player of the year voted by the players and fans player of the year for his hard work this season.

There was some surprise James Forrest didn’t bag one of those two accolades with the attacking midfielder having arguably his best season at Celtic. Some of the goals he’s scored have been crucial to where we are this season.

Callum does deserve the recognition with the sheer volume of games and his ability to play in several different roles this term. People may forget there was a point in the season where he was keeping Scott Brown out the side after injury.

Hoping to see James take a player of the year award in the SPFL as reward for his efforts this season.

Here is a full list of winners at Sunday night’s ceremony.
