There is no doubt that Callum McGregor has played a prolific part, in Celtic’s journey to 9 in a row.
He has arguably been one of the most influential players at the club in the last few years and also a huge fan favourite.
In an interview with the official Celtic website, McGregor spoke on his “great relationship” with the fans and how he and his fellow team-mates are incredibly proud to represent the club.
“The supporters can be proud of the team that’s on the pitch and proud of their club, and I certainly know that when you’re playing in front of our fans, it’s just an incredible feeling
We’ve got a great relationship with everyone within the club and towards the supporters, and the supporters back to the players. It seems to be a really special time for the club at the minute and it’s something that I know the boys are incredibly proud of.”
As one of the many successes of the Celtic Academy, it is great to see players like Callum McGregor speaking back on behalf of the fans.
Watching the midfielder has developed over the last few years has been a pleasure and I’m sure he will continue to have a crucial impact on the squad for many years to come, before hopefully becoming captain of the side one day.
