Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor has eased concerns over his Achilles and calf issues.
CeltsAreHere understands McGregor was in a protective boot on Friday as a precaution but traveled with the Celtic squad for this afternoon’s match against Hearts without the boot.
McGregor won’t play any part against Hearts, but it can only be seen as a positive sign that he is able to walk without the protective boot.

The Celtic captain was substituted against Dundee at halftime on Wednesday night.
Initially, it looked like a rest for McGregor, with the Hoops leading 6-0.
However, Brendan Rodgers revealed it to be a precaution after the game.
McGregor, who is rarely substituted or even injured, understandably caused concern among fans.
With some on social media going as far as to claim that the Scottish midfielder could miss the rest of the season, but with McGregor walking with ease to today’s game with the squad, he clearly won’t be out as long as was initially believed.
Brendan Rodgers will likely address McGregor’s condition pre-match, with Paulo Bernardo starting in his place at Tynecastle.
