CALLUM MCGREGOR has been described as a “great person” by Josip Juranovic, who was in front of the media ahead of Wednesday’s derby.

Josip has settled into life at Celtic well. When he first arrived at the club, the Croatian played on the opposite side, with Ralston holding down the right-back position. However, now in his natural position, Juranovic’s quality is shining through.

In today’s presser, Juranovic was quizzed on life in Scotland, in reply he said;

“When I came here at first captain Callum was so so great a person. He text me and after that, I feel like I am home, I am with my family here. We give each other everything, on the pitch or off the pitch, it doesn’t matter.

Callum McGregor is a brilliant leader. He conducts himself extremely well on and off the pitch, there is no one who can say a bad word about him.

Having the midfielder back for Wednesday could be vital. Having his influence on the pitch could make the difference in a massive match like this. Without sounding too cliche, it’s good to have someone who truly knows what the Glasgow Derby means to the fans.

  1. Who ever plays we must dominate suppress and Punish them all over the pitch we must play as one back each other up and bring others in to the game so that they can feed off you and shine in there own way,we need men tonight that will stand up and be counted on do it Celtic kick this monkey in to touch…

  2. McGregor has never shown up v Sevco, one of the reasons our recent record against them is so dire.
    If he takes to the field tonight its time to demonstrate proper leadership & dominate the mid. He’s a vastly experienced player and needs to start showing it in the big games against the big teams.
    I hope im wrong, but if he starts, I fear the worst
