Ange Postecoglou can’t give a definitive answer on when Callum McGregor will be back in action for Celtic. He appeared to rule out his reintroduction on Sunday against Dundee Utd – the manager telling Alison Conroy the captain has an outside chance of making the Europa League tie against Bayer Leverkusen.

Mikey Johnston is also out with another injury after sustaining a knock in training after coming back once again from a layoff over the summer.

Giakoumakis pulling up in the warm up adds to Celtic’s woes as they try to soldier on without reinforcements and key players.

Celtic are badly missing Callum McGregor but it’s anyone’s guess when we will see him next.

It’s important not to rush him back into action but he is the heartbeat of this team and the more games we play without him, the more Celtic will suffer.

Ajeti will likely lead the line against Dundee Utd again and maybe jota will get more game time up front.
