Callum McGregor says Celtic must deliver “more” at Hampden as they look to banish recent final heartbreak and book their place in the Scottish Cup showpiece.

The Hoops head into Sunday’s semi-final against St Mirren knowing their recent record at the national stadium leaves a point to prove.
Their last two Hampden finals have both ended in disappointment.
Last season, Aberdeen ended Celtic’s treble hopes with a penalty shootout victory over Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Then, earlier this campaign, Celtic returned to Hampden for the League Cup final only to be convincingly beaten 3-1 by St Mirren under Wilfried Nancy.
Now, it’s a chance for redemption.
McGregor, who is currently playing through injury, will once again lead his side out, this time determined to ensure there are no repeat mistakes.
He said to Celtic TV: “Any time you have a low point or you miss out on a trophy, you think back to it.
“The League Cup is fresh in everybody’s mind.
“So when you arrive in these big days, it’s about coming off the pitch with no regret and knowing you gave everything to get a result.
“We for sure have to give a better account of ourselves than we did that day.
“But we come into these semi-finals with big experience and good experiences behind us.
“Hopefully we can draw on that.
“Ultimately, you have to perform, you have to match everything St Mirren will bring and we have to give more if we want to be the team in the final.”
It’s a massive chance to reset the narrative around the club and put in a good performance and take confidence from that into the next set of matches.
Celtic know that they need to go perfect and to do that, they need to start scoring more goals. Scraping by teams isn’t sustainable and their poor performances will catch up on them.
Three goals in their last three games is not the form of a title-winning team.
At Hampden, they know exactly what’s at stake.
