CALLUM MCGREGOR has sent a message to a young Celtic fan battling cancer. Ryan Thompson, who plays for Stenhousemuir’s Young Maroons, was sadly diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer.
Ryan has been incredibly strong throughout his journey and is determined to overcome the cruel illness. His uncle has been keeping his Twitter followers updated using the handle @geokoart.
Celtic captain, Callum McGregor, has sent a touching message to the young boy, offering his best wishes as he received chemotherapy.

This is another act of class from a Celtic player. The players have built a solid relationship with the fans throughout the season and connected with those in poor health.
