While a transfer fee has not yet reportedly been agreed between Celtic and Qarabag, there is growing confidence that an agreement is close. Discussions between the clubs have been ongoing after an opening offer was rejected, but the latest update suggests there is an increasing belief that the deal is heading towards a successful conclusion.
The reported presence of Duran’s representative in Glasgow is perhaps the clearest indication yet that negotiations have moved beyond initial interest.
