CELTIC safely made it through to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup with a 3-0 win against Clyde. Their reward was an away tie against St Johnstone for a place in the semi-final of the competition.
However, it appears some St Johnstone fans saw this draw coming and aren’t happy about it.
From asking for a redraw to having a go at their chairman for offering out more tickets to Celtic fans on away days.
Tommy Wright’s men are 8th in the league right now with a bit of distance between themselves and the bottom of the table.
You would think the prospect of a cup game against the current holders on their own patch would inspire the imagination. Celtic fans got a bumper crowd for the tie back in January with the Perthshire side deciding to welcome away supporters for a good pay day.
If their support filled the stands that wouldn’t have happened.
