SCOTLAND were outclassed by a good Croatia team on Tuesday night.
The game ended 3-1 and extinguished any hope of the country making it to the final 1 of the competition.
There’s a lot to pick over but for many fans, it’s the lack of use of the whole squad that’s got them most frustrated.
Two games at home and we couldn’t be a bit more attacking, take the impetus to our opponents and get a vital win.
Steve Clarke did well to get Scotland to the tournament, and the draw against England was the highlight. However, his in-game management left a lot to be desired on the night against Croatia.
Many fans believe there were players on the bench who could’ve made a difference this tournament if only given a chance. One of those men was Celtic’s James Forrest, the winger got a late sub appearance against the Czech Republic on matchday one and that was it.
Many supporters believe James was exactly the type of attacking threat we needed down the right hand side.
I can’t believe the James Forrest never got on the second half after his game against the Czech. O’Donnell hit the bi line once and put in a terrible ball , Clarks tactics to hit on the break for me is to defensive

Whos the best winger to come out of Scotland in the past 20 years? James Forrest for me and he hardly kicked a ball at our home national tournament.

So disappointed. For me, we saw tonight the value of Billy Gilmour. Why Dykes remained on is a mystery. Why Steve Clarke did not bring on James Forrest and Turnbull when players were struggling is a mystery. Why do we take a big squad not to use it? From Wembley to ordinary ??

Ridiculous not to involve James Forrest from the start #SCOCRO There are 3 matches – 2 at Hampden – you MUST win one ?
