CELTSAREHERE.com attended a player press conference on Tuesday afternoon as both Anthony Ralston and Carl Starfelt helped promote the Celtic Musical outside the SEC.
The players were both in really good spirits as you would expect and were itching to get to Tannadice on Wednesday evening in the hope of clinching the title.
Anthony and Carl are two men who went through some rough criticism before proving everyone wrong and becoming a solid part of a Celtic side who have managed to win the SPFL title.
Carl told CeltsArehere winning the league would be the highlight of his career – it would be the first league title he’s won and he can’t wait .
He also addressed the critics from this season, revealing he never listened to any outside noise.
Carl told CeltsAreHere: “I didn’t deal with it too much to be fair. I don’t read a lot of Scottish media to be honest. Of course I’m pretty critical of myself as well but I’ve also changed clubs a couple of times. I knew that it was going to take some time to get everything right with the new playing style and everything.
“So I was just calm, trying to work hard in training and come in with good energy every day. That’s how I dealt with it.”
Celtic can wrap up the title be avoiding defeat to Dundee Utd on Wednesday evening, every single one of the players deserve their moment. The fans who had to go through lockdown and everything that brought get to have a party.
The Celtic Musical will have new material thanks to Ange Postecoglou and his new bhoys. The Musical will enjoy a stay at the SEC from 15th-24th September.
