The defender has been great for Celtic this season. Tying him down to a contract would be amazing. The American would certainly help maintain the high standards at the back.
If Celtic win the league this season, they can offer the player Champions League football after the summer. Something Wolves can’t do, with it looking likely they will play Europa League football next season. Leicester look set to miss playing in Europe altogether, occupying the twelfth position in the league.
Hopefully, Celtic winning the league will persuade Carter-Vickers to stay, but Ange says he will never beg anyone to stay with Celtic.
Ultimately, Celtic fans shouldn’t get hung up on the deal becoming permanent. He’s here now and contributing to a season that could surpass expectations. If it’s a one and done loan deal, so be it!

It’s patently clear to me that the player won’t stick around at Celtic as much as he’s been terrific for us , it’s not about European football for some , it ultimately be about earnings and possibly being closer to home again . Hope I’m wrong but I suspect he’l head back down south .
