MICHAEL STEWART has watched a lot of Celtic this season between his usual punditry gigs and his inclusion as a pundit in the Celtic FC virtual pass:

The former midfielder knows Celtic have to up their game against Hibs this afternoon but admits if the home side’s goalkeeper, Marciano takes his international form into the game, it will be ‘catastrophic’ for Celtic.

“OFIR MARCIANO’S late stop from Leigh Griffiths was bad news for Scotland on Wednesday.” Steward explained to SunSport.

“If the Israel keeper does something similar for Hibs this weekend, it will be catastrophic news for Celtic.”

Marciano was a huge reason Scotland didn’t win their UEFA Nation League group with an inspired performance keeping out Steve Clarke’s men on Wednesday.

Leigh Griffiths had a late shot stopped by the Israeli keeper, as Stewart mentioned, and both could go head to head again at Easter Road.

Celtic beat Hibs 3-1 earlier this season and must keep the pressure on their rivals with a victory at Easter Road. The club haven’t managed a league win in Leith since 2014! So it’s not going to be easy.

We will have to weather a few storms against Jack Ross’s side and hope we have enough going forward.
