Both St Johnstone fans and media are set to be locked out of watching Sunday’s match between the Celtic and the Perth side.
As it has been this season, only season ticket holders will be able to access the majority of league games this season, with no Pay-Per-View system being out at place for Celtic Park this season, like many other sides.
But it does come as a bit of a surprise as to why all St Johnstone related media have supposedly been rejected entry to the ground.
No coverage for away fans. No press passes given to Perth-based media. Celtic FC really covering themselves in glory at the moment. A club like no other…

You would have to expect this is due to the several rights owners, such as newspapers and Sky have taken up all the space available inside Paradise, which will have restricted numbers abiding by social distancing rules.
However, it would also be fair to allow media based around the away team, entry to the ground as that will be the only way to cover the game.
It doesn’t paint a great picture but you would have to think there was some reason behind this decision.
