CELTIC have rubbished any talk of Daniel Arzani leaving in the January window according to the Evening Times after a report from Australia suggested Manchester City had a recall clause in his contract.
Arzani is yet to see any first team action for the Hoops after coming in hot off the heels of a World Cup.
Many fans thought the player was being signed to go straight into the first team but Brendan Rodgers has pleaded for patience as he and the coaching staff try and ready the young star for action.
There has been a lot of mischief-making around the player’s Celtic deal with many suggesting Rodgers doesn’t want him at the club because the Socceroos Star was not included in the Europa League squad earlier this season.
It would appear common sense has prevailed and there is no such trigger for Manchester City to call him back.
It’s worth mentioning Celtic claimed the same with Charly Musonda but ultimately they let the player go after he asked to get out of the 18-month deal.
Arzani played 25 minutes for Australia on Monday afternoon against Kuwait, his Celtic teammate Tom Rogic got on the scoresheet in their 4-0 win.
